International Access to Information Day
In October 2019, the United Nations General Assembly proclaimed 28 September as International Day for Universal Access to Information.
The Australia and New Zealand Information Access Commissioners and Ombudsmen join together to promote and uphold information access rights.
In Western Australia those rights start with the Freedom of Information Act 1992 (WA) (the FOI Act).
